On Jan. 1, Erin Loxam and I pledged to take and upload one photo every day for all of 2011. Back then, she figured we’d last about three weeks — a checkpoint we’ve now passed. Nicely done, us. Erin: How much longer do you think we can keep this up?
Random thought: I’ve always been pretty happy with the quality of photos an iPhone can produce — considering its prime function to act as a smartphone, anyway — but this little exercise has served as a good reminder of just how polished the results can be. It’s also been interesting seeing something photo-worthy and mentally going through all the different combinations with which to capture it: different apps, different “lenses” and “films,” borders, colours, filters, etc.
That said, I’m looking forward to dusting off the D80 and getting some shots with that soon, too.
