Welcome, 2011

I usually try to do some sort of a year-end wrap-up, but with four friends’ deaths in the span a year, each attempt devolved into some deeply personal missive that I wasn’t about to hit “publish” on. So instead, this time I’ll keep it short: Through tragedy emerged perspective, and a newfound appreciation for that which is most important. Here is to a 2011 better than 2010, a year of love and laughter, and to never forgetting that we are bound by nothing from finding the next big circus….
